Price for cigarettes in Ukraine

Nowadays Ukraine fights smoking like other countries. That’s why its government signed a law prohibitting smoking in public places. According to this law smoking tobacco goods, shisha and electronic cigarettes is prohibitted in restaurants, cafes, public transport and at the territory of cultural places. Tobacco goods rised in price.

Many tourists think if they need to take cigarettes with them. Nowadays price of cigarettes in Ukraine is not so high as in other countries especially in comparison with European Union. If a tourist lives in a country where cigarettes cost less, it’s better to buy them there in advance. But if it’s not so, he can buy cigarettes in this country.

There is a wide assortment of tobacco goods in this country. You can buy both foreign and local goods here. Many people give no credence to goods produced in Ukraine that’s why they buy foreign brands that cost several times more.

Before you import cigarettes into Ukraine, remember that only adults can do it. One adult can take not more than 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars or 250 gram of tobacco.
